A.V.A - Alliance of Valiant Arms.

Hello everyone, i thought id like to introduce every one of you to a fun, free fps shooting game, Alliance of Valiant Arms. Alliance of Valiant Arms is in my opinion, a nice fresh cool off from other shooting games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, ect. It's also keeping me entertained until MW3 comes out. Enough with the chit chat.

ijji Official Site - http://www.ijji.com/ -You need to download this first, make an account, then you can download A.V.A

There are more than enough modes in this game, if you do decide to download it, you need to make sure your computer can handle it. It's graphics are top notch, so if your computer can't handle it, and your fps is under 30, don't bother playing it. As i stated before, the modes are just like any other fps game.

Scenario = Scenario is basically 4 players against the CPU. This mode gives you a certain goal, and you need to achieve it before a timer runs out, or prisoners kill you. For example, there is a scenario where you have to escape a burning prison that is about to collapse. If the prisoners kill all four players, the game is over. If you all die in a fire, the game is over. That's just a mini example of what you can do in this mode, there are way more scenario missions that can keep you entertained.

Annihilation = Annihilation is basically Team Deathmatch. Not sure why A.V.A doesn't call it Team Deathmatch, i guess they're trying to be unique? Anyway, basic stuff, for those who has played an fps before, you know what this mode is all about. Beautiful maps, good mode.

Cross Steal = Once again, i guess the makers of this game are trying to be unique. Cross Steal is basically capture the flag. Instead of a flag however, you need to capture the enemy briefcase and bring it to your base before they kill you. This is by far my favorite mode. Despite it being such a great mode, they're only 2 maps to this mode, but more is getting added very soon.

Free For All = Any fps player know how this mode goes. I like this mode as well, but what's holding it back is it's two maps. Despite having only two maps, they're pretty good medium sized maps that everyone seems to love. The game gets quite hectic when they're 16 people in a FFA match.

Demolition - This is basically bomb mode. Get the bomb, plant it at the enemy territory. Out of all modes in this game, this one is by far the most competitive. It takes team work, and communication for you to be successful in this mode. This is a very fun mode.

Escort = In this mode, you need to protect your tank and escort it to a point later in the map. The EU begins escorting the tank and the NRF are gives weapon boxes located around the map with RPG-7s to destroy the tank. When the tank is destroyed, the EU them can repair the tank by going up to it and pressing "E". A maximum of 2 people can repair the tank at a time. There are points where if the EU gets past, 3 score points are rewarded. When EU gets to the last line of the NRF's defense or the NRF stops the tank reaching that point. When that happens, teams switch sides.

You also have neat modes like A.I Demolition. It's basically you and three other players against the tough CPU in a demolition match. A.I Annihilation. They're are plenty more as well. Not to mention, there are sniper, pistol, and knife only matches.

Infection - or soldiers: Stay alive and defend yourself. Through appropriate and efficient use of your weapon, cooperate with teammates to gain high advantage positions and defend. Once your hp is dropped to zero, you will be infected.

For zombies: Be a menace to soldiers. Rip them with your bare hands; use your special spores to get them infected as well. Employ your high jumping ability to get those players who bug. Also, if you are the original zombie chosen by the game, you can press F to sprint a lot faster. It really helps.

Currently they're are three classes in the game.

Point Man.

One of the most important part's of a pointman, is his Sprinting, Fast Reload, and running speed boosts. Without any of these, your essentially a really bad Rifle Class. I suggest getting these as soon as you can. I've played this game for about three months now, and this is by far the best class imo out of the three. This class really helps when you're playing Cross Steal.

Rifle Man.
Basically, for those who want the Powerful guns like the AK-47, AK-74, M4A1, Tar-21, Famas, and plenty more. These guns are extremely powerful, though some has a lot of recoil so it's suggested that you tap fire instead of bursting.

Sniper

Snipers love to camp, I'm going to say it straight up. I hate snipers, and i can't snipe to save my life. If you love quick scoping, then you're going to love to snipe.

The game also has little perks and what not. Whenever you get a certain amount of kills, you unlock certain medals. These medals can improve your in game experience. For example, if you get 1,000 kills with a Point man gun, you get a quick reload medal which makes you reload faster. If you sprint a lot, you're on your way to get a springing medal which makes you sprint faster, which is awesome if you're a point man.

They're are a lot of guns in this game, the good thing about this game is everyone has a chance. There isn't an overpowered gun, if you're good at the game, and you know what you're doing, you should be fine. With that said, i can't really encourage you all to play this game without the videos!

That's it for now. You can also download A.V.A from steam, as they are not advertising it on their site. This game is very, very popular. Since steam started advertising it, they picked up about 300 more people, servers are packed everyday. Also, protip; If you're new, go in the 1-5 servers, don't go in the open servers because the "pro" players are going to kick you because of your rank. Overall, the community is very nice.

If you have any question about the game, post them here and I'll be happy to answer.
