McDonald's Is Adding a New Chocolatey Pretzel McFlurry To Its Summer Menu

Move over M&M and Oreo, there's a new McFlurry to enjoy this summer at McDonald's. Beginning May 25, Mickey D's customers can try the new limited-time Chocolatey Pretzel McFlurry.

This new McFlurry is the perfect combination of sweet and salty flavors as vanilla soft serve comes together with caramel topping and chocolatey pretzel pieces to create the ultimate summertime treat.

The new dessert hits the menu just in time for the unofficial start of summer: Memorial Day weekend. However, there's no telling how long it will be available since McDonald's claims it's a limited-time-only item — which means you need to order it ASAP.

The treat is the first new McFlurry flavor of 2022, which also saw the return of the beloved Oreo Shamrock McFlurry in February. But the Chocolatey Pretzel McFlurry has actually been available on the menu before.

In August 2021, the dessert (which was originally called the Chocolatey Caramel Pretzel McFlurry) was available in Southern California — most likely to market test it with real customers. Those lucky enough to try it, including YouTuber Peep THIS Out!, enjoyed the new sweet and salty McFlurry flavor. Now, the Chocolatey Pretzel McFlurry will be available nationwide at participating Mickey D's restaurants.

McDonald's has not released the new McFlurry's price, but the M&M McFlurry and the Oreo McFlurry both retail for $3.29 for the regular size and $2.49 for the snack size. So we can probably expect this McFlurry to be in the same price range.
