Alliance of Valiant Arms Brings Home the Gold with the “Dogs of War” Update
En Masse Entertainment Revs Up the Year with Grand Prix Tournament Mode Featuring a New Map, Improved Game-Mode Selection
SEATTLE, January 25, 2018—En Masse Entertainment, a player-driven publisher focused on delivering great games and great service, releases their first content update to the popular free-to-play, multiplayer first-person shooter Alliance of Valiant Arms (AVA). The “Dogs of War” update, available now for free, introduces the brand-new Grand Prix PvP mode, accompanied by the new Stadium map for players to compete in. The update also features a variety of new weapon cosmetics, and a new interface to find game modes and maps that will exist alongside the classic interface, allowing players to choose which they prefer.
The centerpiece for the “Dogs of War” update—the new Grand Prix PvP mode set in the eclectic Stadium map—pits players against each other in one-on-one battles in a competition to crown the best player among them. Using Swiss tournament rules, players earn ranking points based on their performance during each of the 8 matches and 20 rounds to determine their final standing on the leaderboards. Losing a round won’t eliminate players, giving players room to make epic comebacks and last-minute upsets for pulse-pounding action! Winners take home some in-game Euros or the coveted Grand Prix Trophy, which conveniently doubles as a fantastic melee weapon.
Responding to feedback from players, the team has sought to make navigating AVA easier for new players with the improved Content Gateway. This interface is designed to make finding matches with players’ preferred game modes and maps easier and faster, so players spend less time looking for the perfect match. Players who prefer the classic interface can continue to use it by unchecking the “Content Gateway” option in the games menu.
