Bolivian President Evo Morales meets Antonio Tajani

Bolivian President Evo Morales came to the European Parliament on 8 June to have a meeting with Parliament President Antonio Tajani.

After the meeting Tajani said “Europe is ready to cooperate more with Bolivia on SMEs, the environment, infrastructure and the strengthening of our economic diplomacy."

Morales has been president of Bolivia since January 2006. Before becoming a politician, he was a trade unions activist.
