This place gets its name from the Spanish father Agustino Quevedo, who installed the public water source that is in the center of the square, in order to give the water that the community required around 1830. Today it is one of the most emblematic and characteristic places of the Historic Center of Bogotá and has a great variety of restaurants with local food and drinks such as Chicha, which has a great history because it was an ancestral Muisca drink that was banned by the influence of private beer companies supported by the government, finally accepted again to rescue the Colombian roots
In this characteristic place, there is a square around the fountain where cultural activities and handicraft exhibitions are held, in addition there is a monument of the 12 houses that represent the foundation of Bogotá in this space.
