    1. My first copy of your newsletter Jeff. Lots of great information. I’m putting Medellin on my future travel bucket list.

    2. I’m just soaking all these posts in, Jeff! Can’t get enough. Thanks again for all your team’s efforts. It is truly appreciated & needed.

The water play area was my favourite to watch the happy children. I wanted to urge them to replicate it in all the barrios. So what did they do? They closed it! Great idea and simple but now lost.

      • The water play area isn’t permanently closed. I just called EPM and they are doing maintenance on the water fountains during Feria de las Flores and it will reopen on August 13. And the water fountains will be active daily from 11 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm. I updated the article with this information.

    4. Wonderful spot. Just keep your cell phone out of sight. Friend had her phone swiped out from her handbag recently. Beggars abound. Bring plenty of change 200 peso coin Will work. Planetarium show nice but remember its only in Spanish. Careful of the bicycle riders who show no regard for pedestrians whatsoever. Pedestrians are looked upon as targets in an amusement park. The lack of civility is aphalling and shameful. A word to the wise. I love the park and Jeff always provides great details. Keep your eyes open. This is definitely NOT Amsterdam or Vienna.

Ron, it doesn’t look like Berlin either as it isn’t strewn with cigarette butts, paper litter and spray paint graffiti. Thanks for the warning, thought, and we’ll watch out when come to Medllin.
